Plasmocin™ is suitable for research purposes only. It must not be used on humans.
CHEMICAL PROPERTIES :
Plasmocin at 25mg/ml: pH=3.7 (± 0.2). Plasmocin at 2.5mg/ml: pH=4.5 (± 0.2).
CONDITIONING :
Plasmocin is provided as a sterile yellow aqueous solution, and validated for cell-culture usage.
For elimination of mycoplasma contaminants, Plasmocin is provided at 25mg/ml (2x1ml).
For prevention of mycoplasma contamination, Plasmocin is provided at 2.5mg/ml (5x2ml).
STABILITY :
Plasmocin 25mg/ml is stable one week at 37°C, one month at 4°C, and two years when stored at –20°C.
Plasmocin 2.5mg/ml is stable one week at 37°C, nine months at 4°C, and two years when stored at –20°C.
SAFETY :
Plasmocin™ may be a hazardous compound: avoid contact with skin. Harmful if swallowed.
